🐾 Chane’s Pet Sitting – Booking & Service Policy

1. Bookings & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made via the website, WhatsApp, or email.

  • A booking is only confirmed once payment or deposit is received.

  • Chane’s Pet Sitting reserves the right to decline any booking.

2. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 24 hours before the service starts.

  • No service will be provided without full payment.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 48 hours before booking: Full refund (excluding deposit if applicable).

  • 24–48 hours before booking: 50% of booking fee charged.

  • Less than 24 hours before booking: 100% of booking fee charged.

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: No refund.

4. Changes to Bookings

  • Changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Additional fees may apply for extended hours or additional pets.

  • All changes are subject to availability.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client must:

  • Provide accurate information about pets (health, behaviour, feeding, medication).

  • Ensure pets are vaccinated, non-aggressive, and safe to handle.

  • Supply all necessary items (food, leads, medication, etc.).

  • Ensure the property is secure and safe for pets.

6. Access to Property

  • The client must provide access (keys, codes, instructions).

  • If access is not possible at the scheduled time, the visit will still be charged.

 

7. Pet Health & Emergencies

  • In case of emergency, Chane’s Pet Sitting will:

    • Attempt to contact the owner immediately

    • Seek veterinary care if necessary

  • All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner.

8. Liability

  • Chane’s Pet Sitting will take all reasonable care but is not liable for:

    • Illness, injury, or escape of pets not caused by negligence

    • Damage caused by pets to property or third parties

  • Owners remain responsible for their pet’s behaviour.

9. Aggressive or Unsafe Pets

  • Services may be refused or terminated immediately if a pet is aggressive or unsafe.

  • No refunds will be given in such cases.

10. Service Timing

  • Visit times are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or emergencies.

  • Every effort will be made to maintain agreed schedules.

11. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • In extreme weather or emergencies, services may be adjusted for safety.

  • Clients will be notified as soon as possible.

 

12. Privacy & Security

  • Client information will remain confidential and will not be shared.

  • Photos of pets may be used for social media unless the client opts out.

13. Agreement

By making a booking, the client confirms that they:

  • Agree to these terms and conditions

  • Accept payment, cancellation, and liability policies
